Gabriel Luis de Arinyo], 6.IX.1484. 2° Anm. 1. “An agreement entered into on 31 July, 1483, between Gabriel Luis de Arinyo and Alfonso Fernández de Córdoba for the printing of unspecified books states that the printing of ‘the works of the Bishop’, i.e. Jacobus Perez, Bishop of Christopolis and administrator of the bishopric of Valencia, had at that time been begun by De Arinyo. The three [sic] quires already printed … were, however, to be destroyed and the printing recommenced with the types of Fernández de Córdoba. (Cf. Serrano y Morales, pp. 155–8.)
