Zur Datierung: Das im Kolophon genannte Datum 20.XI.1483 bezieht sich offenbar auf die Fertigstellung der Übersetzung und ist nicht als Druckdatum zu interpretieren.
Anm. 1. Die Ausgabe liegt in zwei Varianten vor: Variante A m. 449 Bl. u. Kollation [a⁶]a–z⁊⁸⁶A–V⁸X⁶Y³aa–ff⁸gg⁶hhii⁸kk⁶ (z.B. Ex. Cambridge UL); Variante B m. 446 Bl. u. abw. Kollation [a⁴]a–z⁊⁸⁶A–V⁸X⁸aa–ff⁸gg⁶hhii⁸kk⁶ (z.B. Ex. Glasgow UL). Die Lagen a–t und A–E sind in beiden Varianten identisch, von den restlichen Lagen existieren zwei Druckzustände. Die Lagen u–, F–V und aa–ii wurden in B seiten- bzw. zeilenidentisch nachgesetzt, jedoch mit Type 5:113G statt 3:136G als Auszeichnungstype. Der Inhalt der ersten, unsignierten Lage wurde in B ungekürzt auf 4 statt 6 Bl. gedruckt. Der Inhalt der Lagen X⁶ u. Y³ wurde für B auf eine Lage (X⁸) gebracht. Lage kk⁶ unterscheidet sich in B durch die vor dem Epilog inserierte Erasmus-Legende (Bl. kk⁵a–kk⁶b), die in A nicht vorhanden ist. Der Text endet in B auf Bl. 446b (kk⁶b). Abw. Satz in B z.B.
